Data Conversion If clients have a pre-existing database to integrate with Datastream asset management software, the data-conversion team can be a valuable asset. Through data conversion, data is transferred from existing computer applications into the Datastream family of products.
Data, such as keeping records of maintenance activities or purchasing, can be transferred from most applications as well as from internal databases. Through data conversion, the current fields are cross-referenced into the software fields, and a program is written to transfer the data.
