MP2 PagerLink, an optional product for MP2 Professional 6.0 SQL Server, MP2 Enterprise 6.0 SQL Server, and MP2 Enterprise 6.0 Oracle, improves emergency response time by enabling companies to get the right person on a repair job 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With MP2 PagerLink installed, MP2 automatically notifies the appropriate repair person whenever a user creates, approves, or deletes a work request on assigned equipment.

MP2 PagerLink enables companies to:

• Reduce response time on maintenance requests
• Create criteria for events that warrant paging and define the criteria based on the priority of the equipment, the priority of the request, or both
• Transmit pages for a predetermined amount of time.
• Select what information transmits in the page
• Notify page recipient of three events: New Request, Approve Request, and Delete Request.
• Page a supervisor if no response is received from the assigned repair person within a certain time frame
• Designate page recipient based on Person Responsible or Department in Equipment OR Assigned To field on Work Request
• Define a "waiting period" between notifications

Requirements

• Text pager(s) using a pager service with an e-mail notification system
• SQL Server 6.5 and MAPI mail systems (Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Mail, etc.)
• MS Exchange e-mail system installed on main terminal
